1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We chose Flattened Frogs Massacre because we used to make frog movements while we play live and cuz we also wanted it to sound brutal, that's why we added ''Flattened'' and ''Massacre''. However, we prefer to be known as ''FLATTENED''.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We have always heard heavy music and covered our favourite band's songs but we don't have an exact preference, we just make it sound heavy with some down tempo guitar riffs and breakdowns. If we had to categorize our music in one genre, surely would be Metal, but call it deathcore,djent,doom or progressivemetalfroggycore if you want lol.

3 . Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, but in 2013, a year after releasing our old EP ''Human Cienega'' and playing in many places we changed our vocalist. Endika (actually guitarist in Pinotxet) left the band and we joined Marton, who we previously knew. Our current line-up is formed by: Marton Barrientos (vocals), Eneko Zulaika (vocals), Iñigo Labat (guitar), Imanol Lion (bass) and Jon Mikel Lomeña (drums)

4. Each band member favourite band?

Marton – Emmure

Iñigo - Northlane

Imanol - Parkway Drive

Eneko - Korn

Jon Mikel - Rise Of The Northstar

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We used to talk about shitty topics like bitches, drugs or genital mutilation, but now we also speak about political injustices, corruption, loneliness, ignorance…

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in a festival called Zikuñaga Fest with our friends Meltdown and Dawnmaster. This concert we gave it before recording our video-clip ‘’Erbesteratzera Behartuak’’ and it was a few months before summer. We are too busy with other stuff at the moment, although we continue composing and creating new things even more slow and stupid (regarding to breakdowns obviously hahahaha).

7. Where would you like to act?

We don't mind where to play, we would love to be touring everyday, we involve and engage one hundred percent in each concert.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No, never. There are no tips.. if you are in a band, love the rest of the members then.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Terror, Oceano, Demolisher, Black Tongue, Jousilouli...

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

"Slower"

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are the reason. We play and share our music for them.

14. What do you think of our site?
