We Fall As One - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Hardcore band We Fall As One from France, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

When the band wasn't formed yet and it had no name, the first song we wrote was titled "We Fall As One". In the end we never played that song live, but we kept the name that sums up the strength of our friendship.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We all grew up listening to bands like Blink-182, New Found Glory etc., but when hardcore music was made popular we loved it: instinctively we mixed these two genres and we loved it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Arthur, JB, Toni and Stane were already friends before the band was formed. Nicolas joined WFAO later but he soon became our fifth "brother" very naturally.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Toni (vocals): CITY LIGHTS

Stane (guitar): A DAY TO REMEMBER

JB (guitar): LIONS LIONS

Arthur (bass): MONEEN

Nicolas (drums): CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

We wrote a bunch of songs about friendship, the loss of someone and generally things about our lives; we write songs about what we’ve lived.

6. Where was your last gig?  

It was in a small club in Paris with our Swedish buddies from Abandoned By Bears.

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would like to play in the United States when we’re ready, we all have the "American dream": Warped Tour or others shows.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like work with guys like Dan O'Connor (Four Year Stong), Ben Barlow (Neck Deep), Kevin Jordan (This Wild Life), or Dan Lambton (Real Friends).

9. Whom not?  

Ronnie Radke undoubtedly. This guy has become… so weird!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

At the beginning of our adventure: yes we have, of course! As time goes by, you get to understand that the most important thing is to have fun and give the best of yourself to your fans.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Many bands from different genres inspire us and we already named our major inspirations in the previous questions but we're usually compared to Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and it's a compliment for us, even if we're doing our own kind of pop-punk.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for ?  

We haven't had any weird requests (yet).

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They're so cool! Every time we hear someone say « oh thank you guys for what you do » it feels like a reward to us.

Seriously we love your work guys, we appreciate you being aware of musical news.
