Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band When We Were Wolves from UK, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was pretty random to be honest , we came up with a few and that was catchy and we had some cool merch ideas we could use with it being 4 W's so we went with that , after playing a few gigs under that name it stuck.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It was never something as planned , we didn't start this band with the intention of it being a full time thing so when we first started writing together there wasn't really any game plan it was just write what we enjoy. Although the band has become a more serious thing for us we still take a laid back approach to our writing, if we write it then its 'us'

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

A few of us did , I was the vocalist in another band and our original line up was another band all together so I met the guys when I left my old band and they were looking for a singer so we met up and started what is now When We Were Wolves. We have had a few line up changes but our drummer josh was our original bassist , We met our guitarist Steve at a show and Matt was in another band we are good friends with before joining us .

4. Each band member favourite band?

Mitch - Slipknot / A Day to Remember

Steve - Bury Tomorrow / While She Sleeps

Josh - Metallica / Parkway Drive

Rhod - Bullet For My Valentine / Trivium

Matt - Whitechapel

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We take our inspiration from everything really. Real life situations, things we are going through personally and just a general passion for music

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was Cheltenham which was the last day of our headline and the reaction we received was unbelievable

7. Where would you like to act?

As a band we would love to play Download Festival. It is somewhere we have all been as fans for many years

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

There are so many bands we like and respect. Sometime in the future to perform with a band like Slipknot would be amazing.

9. Whom not?

Probably any bands that sound like One Direction

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really , We've been going a few years now and done a lot of touring so it's more excitement than anything to just get on stage. Advice for anyone who suffers from stage fright? Just relax and enjoy it,

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Seeing how hard a band like Parkway Drive worked in the early days while they were travelling and sleeping rough miles away from home for months at a time. It shows that if you really want to succeed as a band there are no limits on what you can achieve or how far you can take things.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing to weird, some guy asked us for a free tee on our last tour, what was weird was how he reacted when we said no. It wasn't said in a horrible way , we are still a small band and our merch money is what gets us from show to show and he didn't get that and was pretty pissed at us, not sure why

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans mean the world to us. It's cool because we see people of all ages coming to shows , older and younger crowds and they always come back to a show when we play their area so it's amazing and it means so much for a band at our level it's everything so we owe them everything

14. What do you think of our site?

It Kicks Ass

15. Something to add?

Check out our EP 'Heartless' at all usual outlets and come catch us on Tour with The Blackout this November!
