While We Set Crowns - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore/Electronic/Metalcore band While We Set Crowns from Germany, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

First, we called us "Empty Prophecy" but cause of all the member changes we decided to change the band name. "While We Set Crowns" just came out. we liked that and that's the whole "magic"

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We love heavy music with cleans. it makes alot of fun. our first experience with music like that was the first album of asking alexandria. we loved it and we wanted to do the same. more trancecore. somthing new. we startet to make music in 2010.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

There are only two original members of "empty prophecy". the drummer (jason) and myself. we met us before the band starts. the others were friends of us but not at the same time we started the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Jason (Drum): Attila

Eugen (Guitar): Architects

Oliver (Guitar): Blessthefall

Niko (Bass): As I Lay Dying

Philipp (Vocals): Crown The Empire & ERRA

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Who: Bands like Asking Alexandria, Bullet For My Valentine, All Time Low What: The Fact that everybody loves it. music take people together. music helps us with emotional problems. everything is better with music.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was our Album release in "pforzheim" Germany with "Stop! Death Behind Her Smile", "From Ruins We Rise" & "Guidelines".

7. Where would you like to act?  

With Full Force.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Matty Mullins, Tyler Carter, Jesse Cash.

9. Whom not?  

I really don't know,

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Our first gig was horrible. we were so nervous.

Tip for beginners: you need good friends on stage. It's not enough to love the same music. if you are on stage and don't have feelings like "i can trust them" you will feel alone on stage and that can kill your performance and your skills.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Asking Alexandria, Memphis May Fire, Bullet For My Valentine.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

The weirdest thing was "Why do you scream like a Monster but sing like a pussy?".

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We aren't famous or rich or something like that. We love every single person. It's so nice to hear reviews from all around the world. a band without fans is nothing!

14. What do you think of our site?  

It's the first time I've heard about your site. but i like it. It's cool to do an interview cause we're just a small band. but you gives a fuck about the "status" of a band. every band is welcome. Thats a really cool thing!
