All My Friends Are Dead - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you planned it or came out just like that?  

Oh man we get this one a lot I'm happy to answer this! Well we wanted a band name that stuck out a lot, plus I wanted people to ask the question "what is that about" So we picked All My Friends Are Dead The idea was we have no friends just family, every fan every venue every crowd is family!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We picked this genre because it has such raw potential to be emotional and gives us the ability to lay our hearts on the page and play with our emotions both live and in the studio.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Well yes and no. Some of the guys I knew when we played in other bands and some I  got to meet over time.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Brandon: Pantera

Jason: A Day To Remember

Zack: Climates

Dylan: My Chemical Romance

Chris:  Weezer

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Lots of people inspire us but truly what fuels us would be the lives we lead. The hardships the stories all of that is poured into our music.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was Thursday! We played at Ruby Tuesdays Live in Columbus OH. It was a good time lots of new friends and sweet bands.

7. Where would you like to act?

Any other country would be amazing to us. It's a personal goal of mine really.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

The Ghost Inside / For The Fallen Dreams / Lock and Key / Stick To Your Guns / A Day To Remember  Then we could die happy

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really stage fright but just relax and get ready to have the most amazing time with your friends! But one time Brandon fell in front of a ton of people!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Local bands man, young tough bands who have so much talent and we get to hang out and watch them thrive. We have played with some of the most amazing bands ever that are local and don't get enough attention.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A fan asked me to sign a guitar pick once.. And I'm the vocalist..

13. What do you think of your fans?

Oh we love our fans man. Love then! You hear that guys we LOVE YOU! We wouldn't have anything at all without all of them, every single fan past or present have made us from the beginning to now.

14. What do you think of our site?

Love it!! It's an amazing community for bands and fans to connect, I was checking out some bands today in fact!
