Brutal - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Hardcore band Brutal from Spain, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name comes from Javi Guitar and Lute Bass members of the 90´s brutal distracción band that were in Pontevedra (Spain), and when someone asked them to do a benefit concert, they accepted. after the show, they were so happy and decided to continue so far

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We were in a process of evolution from hardcore to metalcore. Probably we decided to become a metalcore band because we maintain the aggressiveness of hardcore music and we add a modern sound.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Some of us knew about the other members through other bands sharing the stage with the exception of the singer, he went to an audition. now we are a big family.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Javier(Rythm Guitar): Adept, Dawn of the maya, BMTH

Adrian(Lead Guitar): Behemoth, Chimaira

Aitor (Bass): Nowadays, August Burns Red

Jose(Drummer): Biohazard

Adrian(vocals): KSE,Adept,Parkway drive

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Well, we were inspired by roughly into all the shit around us, right now we live in something historic for better or worse we are facing the almost complete decay of the human race, and this for write songs is the true Manna.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played in Cangas, we had already played there and it was great again.

7. Where would you like to act?

All the bands have to start acting in smalls places but all dream off playing in the biggest festival with the largest number of people. Personally we would like to play at Resurrection Fest but we have to go step by step.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We don´t close for any band to make a style with which we identify, but we wish to play with adept, bury tomorrow, august burns red, parkway drive ...

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Of course, Adrian the lead guitar often suffers . If, for example , he looks at the audience while we're playing , his legs starts to shake hahaha . he always try to imagine that who is on stage it's someone else , not he.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Adept, Parkway drive, August Burns Red, Dawn of the Maya, Killswitch Engage

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A girl came to see us from leon only if the singer was with her alone (we don´t know for what thing). it's crazy hahaha

13. What do you think of your fans?

Everything we do we do for them, so it´s gratifying to see that the public and fans respond pleasantly and they value the work that is behind.

The fact that you support the small bands says a lot of your site, is always a pleasure collaborate with sites like this. Thank you.
