Every Hand Revealed - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Every Hand Revealed from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you planned it or did it just come out like that?
The ideology behind our name simply lies within our music and our message. Individualism and self perception both play a roll. "Every Hand Revealed" to us simply means to seek truth. Something everyone wants. With our name and with our music, we put out to provoke thought in listeners to simply question themselves and everything around them. To be true to themselves and the world they live in. A person living their life the absolute way that they want to live it in it's entirety no matter the context is Every Hand Revealed in the flesh.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
To us, it's about the aggression and raw emotion we can put into it without cutting any corners. We are all huge fans of many many many genres, but with the message we want to convey and with what we have to say, fast and pissed off metal makes the most sense.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
One way or the other, we all somehow grew up with each other. Some of us as kids, some of us meeting in high school. We're all best friends.
4. Each band member favorite band?
We could go on for hours, but it's almost impossible to pick just one absolute favorite band for anyone. We all jam so many different bands and artists on the regular, it'd be so hard.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
The world around us. The human condition. Events that we have been through and/or are currently going through in life. People. Individualism. Self perception. Self belief. We can pull inspiration from just about anything and everything.
6. Where was your last gig?
New Port Richey, Florida. Insomniac's Bar.
7. Where would you like to play in the future?
We have only ventured out of Florida a few times, so in 2015 we definitely plan to not be here as much. Any state would be awesome. We want to play everywhere. At a certain point, if enough people know of us, another country would be phenomenal.
8. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Not so much stage fright , but getting nervous before bigger shows is something that definitely happens. You just always have to remind yourself that you are there because they want you there and even if they don't, you have to be as comfortable as possible. They are people just like you. If you surround yourself with the positivity in the room, it is a lot less stressful. Just try not to care as much and do the damn thing.
9. What bands have inspired you the most?
As far as artists go, the list could go on and on and on. It's never ending, but any hard working band or artist out there. No matter the genre. If they are doing exactly what they want, travelling the world and getting paid to do so, we have the utmost respect for them. We want to be in there shoes one day, so it is very easy to get motivated.
10. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
We are a band. Everything we get asked and everything we encounter is weird. Ask anyone in a band. Hahaha.
11. What do you think of your fans?
Always a friend. Never a fan. They are some of the best people out there. We are still a very very small band and the people that enjoy seeing us and bring us out to their city treat us like we are huge. We love them to death and it's inspiration to get out and make more friends.
12. What do you think of our site?
You guys are giving us an interview, you threw our music up for download and you gave us a cool review, so we appreciate you guys a ton! It all helps so much. Thank you for everything.
13. Something to add?
