Interviews: Handout
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Handout from Hungary, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
It’s ironic because we rebel against „Handout people”. We wanted a short „easy to remember” name with a symbolic meaning. Handout was a prefect choice.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
This is the best genre for sharing our feelings and thoughts with the audience. Monumental, emotional, complex, just like us.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
The two founders Lele, and Busa were classmates in primary school, Soma and Levente were playing together in a band in the past, Bene was unknown.
4. Each band member favourite band?
Bene Balázs (bass) : Architects, Bring Me The Horizon
Busa Balázs (lead) : Bring Me The Horizon, In Hearts Wake
Lele Gergő (vocals) : Rammstein, Manson, Dope
Soós Soma (rythm) : Parkway Drive, Slipknot, In Hearts Wake
Virág Levente (drumms) : In Hearts Wake, August Burns Red
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Radical emotions like anger, hate, etc. You know depressive feelings, and also the fact that we have the opportunity to create. It’s a great inspiration that we can be artists.
6. Where was your last gig?
In our home town Szeged. It was a sick party.
7. Where would you like to act?
On the biggest festivals and shit. That’s the plan.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
We haven’t thought about featuring with anyone yet.
9. Whom not?
Nicki Minaj lol.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
We’re always suffering from stage fright till we start the first song. Thinking about, that all the people there came for your music, they love your music, and it’s pointless to be scared of fans.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Parkway Drive, As I lay dying, Slipknot
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
In fact, nothing weird, just signing everything.
13. What do you think of your fans?
We love ’em. They don’t give a fuck about mainstream bullshits neither do us, and also they always act like beasts at the concerts…violent people that’s sure. Loyal and surprisingly kind guys.
14. What do you think of our site?
It’s nice, we like it! Good to see some mates trying to help people to get to know new bands making music in these specific genres, and also help bands to get to people, and make some new fans.
15. Something to add?
We love cats.
