Pentapuss - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Technical Death Metal/Progressive Deathcore band Pentapuss from Canada, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

One day at a jam session allen started talking about a pentapuss while sipping on a beer and that's pretty much where the story begins

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We don't try to play in any specific genre intentionally,we all have a vast variety of different musical tastes in this band and we tend to bring it all together in the stuff we create.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No it all started from a kijiji ad and facebook.

4. Each band member favourite band?

PJ - as blood runs black, fuck...im dead, hour of penance.

Ryan - after the burial, emmure, the contortionist.

Dillon - Dillinger escape plan, cattle decapitation , sikth.

Jordan - Ensiferum and necrogoblikon .

Allen - Anything heavy and classic rock

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The love of metal. We were inspired by who we listened to growing up and took inspiration from all the types of music we enjoy.

6. Where was your last gig?

Brandon Manitoba at the North Hill inn.

7. Where would you like to act?

Wacken,  summerslaughter , 70000 tons of metal.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Rings of Saturn, Dillinger , whitechapel, cattle decapitation.

9. Whom not?

We don't really exempt anyone from playing with us and we play with bands of completely different genres all the time were not one of those piece of shit elitist pussies that have a fuck you list.........

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We used to get stage fright fright all the time but it goes away after a while. The only advice we could give is get on stage, don't be a pussy, you'll be fine.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Pretty much all of our favorite bands.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing weird has really happened yet ...hopefully soon.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're all extremely supportive and insane in the pits we love em.

14. What do you think of our site?

Its awesome, it gets the little people some notice and we definatley respect that.
