Seabound - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metal/Hardcore band Seabound from Australia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name was thought up by our old guitarist Alex, we all went to school together and at the time couldn't think of something of better so we all decided on that! It's really grown on us and I feel it represents the band well.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Heavy music has the best energy and vibes hands down. It can deliver emotions and messages in a way no other genre can. Not to mention live shows are fun as fuck.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yeah most of us went to school together or played sport together, Jayden and Bailey are brothers and Farry taught both of them some guitar back in school.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We couldn't narrow it down, some of our favourites include Architects, Enter shikari, Parkway drive and the amity affliction. But there is heaps! Farry loves a bit of daft punk.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Every day aspects of life, and the types of people you meet along the way.

6. Where was your last gig?

Byron bay with Prepared like a bride.

7. Where would you like to act?

Worldwide! with special mention to europe!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Ultimate tour would be Parkway drive, Bring me the horizon, Enter shikari and architects.

9. Whom not?

Capture the crown. Fuck that joke of a band. Also special mention to nickii minaj, I dont really know what it is but I don't like it one bit.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I think at one point or another we've always been nervous, I know our first show ever Bailey was shitting his pants.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We've got a wide range of inspirations, but being from the north coast of australia and growing up watching Parkway drive take over the world is something really special, it goes to show if you work hard enough, even 5 desmonds from a small town can do great things.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Jayden was once asked to sign a dudes tit with a tattoo gun.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We don't really view them as fans, but more as friends. We're so stoked on anyone who listens to our music, comes to a show or learns the lyrics. Its amazing. To meet new people when we're out on the road is such a great thing and we always love talking and meeting new people who share similar interests! Music rules man!

14. What do you think of our site?

I think the site is really cool, showcasing bands from all over and giving people a chance to discover new music. Really cool!
