Arde Tannen - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Cause its a reference of fire, that simbolyzes strenght, power, explotion and aggressiveness. Tannen: Cause we think its a metaphor of the God of Death, Thanatos.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Cause we tried to fuse all the kind of music that we like to play, fulfilled our expectations and satisfy us in all the ways.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We met each other because of friends in common, then we realized that we have similar goals and dreams. There was an instant click that pulled us to form Arde Tannen.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Alexis Olivo- Falling in Reverse

Gustavo Galván – Asking Alexandria

Jorge Cid del Prado- Slayer

Jorge Guerrero- Avenged Sevenfold

Mario Olivo- Pierce the Veil

Yannick Hernández- Black Tide

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The problems of everyday life, experiences of each member and all those feelings that we try to empathize to the audience.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played in Mexico City at Irish Pub with a band called Aurum, where we released our first EP “Batallas”.

7. Where would you like to act?

Our aims point to act at Vive Latino, Vans Warped Tour, Rock am Ring and Soundwave.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We are opened to work with all kind of musicians that respresents a growing opportunity but it would be awesome to play with our favorite bands or idols.

9. Whom not?

We´re not closed to work with an specific musician to enrich our music,

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We are sure of our music and the work on stage, we try to transmit our passion in every song. Our advice for beginners is to enjoy all that you love, because if you´re in a band you must love your band and your music.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Avenged Sevenfold, Lamb of God and Black Tide

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Once a fan asked us for an underwear clothes of each member

13. What do you think of your fans?  

That they are awesomes!! They always try to support us. We think that the are the best fans ever!!  14. What do you think of our site? We think that your site is a good opportunity to position bands like us all over the world.  All the big travels began with one step
