Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Deathcore band Behold The Tarantela from USA, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name came from a book that I (Matty) had read in high school. I believed the concept to be interesting at the time and the more I read up on it, the more it began to make sense. "Tarantella" translates to tarantula and is also a form of dance that people did to rid themselves of "tarantism" from the bite of a wolf spider. In that aspect it is the idea that through music there will always be a cure.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Hardcore/metal are genres in which you seem to have the most freedom of expression lyrically and musically. We want the people to not only feel the concept behind the lyrics, but to experience that same feeling through the instrumentals. People tend to appreciate the time and effort put into the music within this genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

In some way, shape, or form, we all seemed to know someone else in the band. Matty, Zac, and Christian knew each other from a previous band they were in. Zac knew Allyn from a separate project in the past. Christian, Allyn, and Seth were all friends prior to joining Behold, the Tarantella.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Matty - Painted in Exile and The Contortionist

Zacary - Slice the Cake and Ovid's Withering

Christian - Josh Martin of Little Tybee, Tosin Abasi, Plini, and The Helix Nebula

Allyn - The Mars Volta Seth - Dance Gavin Dance and Panic! at the Disco

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our music is inspired by everything around us: the people, constellations, questions about life and death, spirituality, expanding consciousness, etc. Lyrically, I (Matty), have always thrived to be a humanitarian. I've wanted to help other people in any way I could from the day I was born. When I write lyrics to songs, I want them to speak to the people listening and remind them that even when the world is dark, there's always something beautiful that you can find hiding in the shadows.

6. Where was your last gig?

As Behold, the Tarantella we have not played for a live audience. We wanted to take our time in writing the first album and began recruiting based on the feedback from it. Our plan is to be 100% ready to play shows and have merch by April.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere. From the local venues and house shows to larger venues, we will play wherever we are wanted (within reason). For instance, we would love to play out of country, but realistically we don't have the funds available.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

It's safe to say that everyone would agree when I say "The Contortionist" would be a phenomenal group to work with. None of us are really biased to who we would feature with, just as long as it fits what we promote as a band.

9. Whom not?

As long as it fits who we are and what we promote, we are open to work with anyone.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?

Matty - I have and still do. I get shaky, so I usually turn my back to the crowd before the music kicks in, but once the music hits I'm relieved of the stage freight almost completely.

Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Matty -  Having my back turned prior to the music starting has always helped me. The more you play for people, the less afraid you tend to be.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

There are so many bands that helped push this project in the direction we are going, from Sky Eats Airplane and I Killed the Prom Queen down to The Contortionist and Painted in Exile. In the end, we feel that we are really pushing through on our own sound.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Since we are relatively new to the music scene, we haven't really experienced anything odd from our fans.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We absolutely love and adore every fan out there. We love you all so much that we will NEVER charge you for a download of a song or album. Downloads will ALWAYS be free to you.

14. What do you think of our site?

Your site is beautifully constructed. We admire that you have taken the time to promote any bands you see fit without being biased to their level of popularity.

15. Something to add?

THANK YOU! We really appreciate the time you have taken to promote us and interview us. Keep up the good work!
