Gabezia - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Gabezia from Spain, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Gabezia means "lack of" or "shortage", we thought this fit the band perfectly.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We don´t like to be classiffied into a genre, we just make the music we want to listen to, we try to push the music to the limit, that´s our genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Three of us were friends before forming the band, we found the drummer and now we are 4 friends doing what we like the most!

4. Each band member favourite band?

Bastida: Metallica

Guillermo: Gojira

Sizis: Lamb Of God

David: System Of A Down

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We found inspiration for our songs in our need to create, our lyrics are introspective, we don´t like to limit their meaning by explaining them.

6. Where was your last gig?

We went to Barcelona last week and it was awesome, big up for No Blame This Time!

7. Where would you like to act?

All over the world! the sky (and the budget) is the limit!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Anyone who resonates with our music and believes in what he/she creates

9. Whom not?

Anyone who isn´t hardworking nor dependable.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We don´t remember suffering stage fright... the tip is just to work really hard until you nail it, once you can play it perfectly you will be confident enough to lead a show

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We listen to a insane variety of music, each of us listens to different genres and we found it impossible to define some inspiring bands for us... we could name Protest The Hero, Gojira or Machine Head

12. What do you think of your fans?

We have no fans, we have friends, they are great, we are all family and they help us a lot booking shows for us, hanging posters and offering couches to sleep on!
