The Human Experiment - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Deathcore band The Human Experiment from USA, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
We were originally Elements. We had to go through a name change due to another band of the same genre having our name. I had remembered a story I read about Russian Sleep Experiments and thought that trials on the human body were interesting. Thus brought the name, The Human Experiment.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
Honestly, it just kind of happened. We don't call ourselves any specific genre because we honestly don't know what we are.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes. We've all been friends for a few years or had been in bands together before.
4. Each band member favourite band?
Cam: The Acacia Strain
Zach: Underoath
Logan: Dethklok
Erin: Either After the Burial or Periphery
Austin: Iron Maiden
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I write lyrics to reflect my inner thoughts and feelings.
6. Where was your last gig?
Tomcats in Fort Worth with Barrier.
7. Where would you like to act?
We're open to just about anywhere. Clubs, bars, warehouses, your grandmas house.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
The Acacia Strain, Rings of Saturn, or Black Tongue 9. Whom not? Falling in Reverse. Radke is a douche.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Cam: I know I have it pretty bad but only the day of the show. The key is to remember that those people are here to see a good show.
Zach: I have, but it dwindled with time. What I do is pretend that I'm playing in front of family or close friends.
Logan: I don't get it unless it's a smaller crowd. The more people the better.
Erin: For my first few gigs I was really overwhelmed by being on stage but now it's just fun...just practice enough where you don't even have to worry about messing up and relax
Austin: The very first show i ever played in percussion in 6th grade yes i just tapped my foot to the temp to relax me, and now i just move as much as i can on stage focusing on what im doing not what people are looking at
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
It's probably a mix of bands. Lots of bands from death metal and deathcore. Even hardcore.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Cam: One fan offered me $5 to say I had a crush on her. That was weird.
13. What do you think of your fans?
They're the greatest. Supporting music always wins my heart.
14. What do you think of our site?
It's pretty sweet! I like the fact that you're so supportive of smaller, local acts.
15. Something to add?
