To Be A King - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Zac: for us, it means that everyones life matters and we are all worth more than we know. We don't believe anyone is greater than the other.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Zac: We have always been drawn to Metal and basically trying new things and playing what we enjoy brought us here.

Colby: For the love of metal and every genre surrounding metal.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Zac: Well, Me and Ian are brothers. and the rest of us played in different bands and met each other through the scene.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zac: I'd Have to say I Killed The Prom Queen.

Ian: Molotov Solution, Make Them Suffer, The Crimson.

Ben: My favorite band right now is probably Bleed From Within.

Colby: August burns red

Keith: All shall perish. abbacab, emmure

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Zac: My Faith inspires me!

Ian: Past childhood trauma, Overcoming things/ Fears.

Ben: The world I live in inspires me everyday.

6. Where was your last gig?

Zac: My last gig was at Heavens pit Stephens City, Va

Ben: My last gig was In Richmond Va, at Kingdom opening for, Bam Margera.

Colby: Lynchburg skatepark lynchburg va

7. Where would you like to act?

Zac: Everywhere!

Ian: Warped tour duhh:)

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Zac: Chelsea Grin,Make them Suffer, Casey Skye, Definitely A First, SLIPKNOT!!!!!!

Ian: Molotov solution, The Holy Guile, The browning.

Ben: Bleed From Within, After The Burial, Make The Suffer.

Colby: We butter the bread with butter.

9. Whom not?

Zac: We Would love to play with anyone! We are all Shooting for the same goal!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Zac: Definitely, I just kinda got used to it lol. After a while it feels more natural and you'll be fine!

Ian: Just ignore that there is a crowd there and pretend your in your bedroom playing for yourself.

Ben: No I haven't, tips, be yourself and don't be afraid they are there to watch you.  of course it takes getting used it becomes a mind state though and you realize that all these people are here to see you its a little scary but their support everybody is there to see you do something you love and are extremely passionate about

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Zac: Really, we just play what we love! but Chelsea Grin,The Browning,and The Crimson Armada.

Ben: Honestly Green Day made me pick up a Guitar.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Zac: Nothing Weird yet but we will keep a look out haha!

Ben: To sign their underwear.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Zac: They are very supportive and we appreciate them backing us on all that we do!

Ben: Great, without them nothing is possible.

14. What do you think of our site?

Zac: Its Awesome!
