Way Of Changes - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Way Of Changes from Switzerland, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We collected many ideas and kept the name « Way Of Changes » amongst the others because it was in the same spirit as our music and lyrics.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We listen to a lot of different genres and have played in various bands but metalcore is by far the one we like to play the most !

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

No, Eliot and Théo (guitarists) answered an ad by Quentin (drums). Maxime (bass) and Théo are the only ones who knew each other before the band and that’s how Maxime joined the project. We  met Simon later (vocals) thanks to an ad too !

4. Each band member favourite band?  

That’s not easy to choose… there are so many good bands out there. But here we go :

Eliot - August Burns Red

Théo - Northlane

Maxime - Monuments

Simon - Breakdown Of Sanity

Quentin - Serianna

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Our music is almost entirely written by Eliot and Théo.

Eliot : My personal story is what inspires me the most.

Théo : I basically can’t write anything if I’m not depressed, sad or angry. Feelings inspire me a lot but my songs aren’t necessarily about me or what I’m going through.

6. Where was your last gig?  

It was at the Nyoncore Part Two ! By far our best show and the best place we’ve played !

7. Where would you like to act?  

Everywhere we can ! We haven’t played much shows yet but our goal is to share our music with people wether it’s in a small venue with 10 people or in a fest with more bands and a big crowd !

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Maxime : Breakdown Of Sanity !

Quentin : Bury Tomorrow !

Simon : Imminence ! Eliot,

Théo : Parkway all the way !

9. Whom not?  

Nobody ! Every opportunity is good to take and we haven’t had any bad experience yet.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We all have a bit of stage fright but it usually goes away pretty fast once the show has begun. The most important thing is too have fun. We’re really bound together and it helps a lot !

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

August Burns Red and maybe Miss May I too but we try not to copy anyone else’s work and make our own music and sound.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

We can’t think of anything weird a fan has ever asked us. Our fans, if we have, are apparently healthy.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Well, it seems a bit soon to speak of « fans » since we’re new to the scene but some people are always in the front row of our shows and it means a lot to us. Wether they’re fan or not, they’re awesome for supporting us !

14. What do you think of our site?  

Your website is totally awesome for featuring a lot of  « small bands » that we hadn’t heard of and were worth a listen !
