Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Deathcore band  Arayana from France, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or it just came to you like that?

Answer: It must be the most frequent question we've ever been asked haha. The name wasn't planned. To be honest, Nevan (guitarist/founder) heard the name "Arianna" in a book and changed it a bit. After some time he suggested Arayana and we started writing songs under this name.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Answer: Every member of Arayana, even the former ones, like Metalcore. The powerful screams, the fast mosh parts, the clean vocal parts, etc… were really inspiring to us since we were teenagers, so we started playing music with the intention of creating a band and, if possible, be the legacy of metalcore.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Our line-up really changed a lot since the beginning. The only founders of Arayana still present are Jordan and Nevan, and they were friends for about 4 years before the band started. But Tuan (bassist) and Quentin (guitarist) met each other at a music contest where their previous bands took part, before entering Arayana. Adrien (drums) was recruited earlier this year.

4. Each band member favourite bands?

Jordan: I was and I am still influenced by Killswitch Engage, and I really am a fan of Erra and Heaven Shall Burn.

Nevan: I love melodic bands but I prefer heavier stuffs, my favourite band so far is Make Them Suffer, followed by Aversions Crown and Carnifex.

Quentin: I have so many bands I love! But if I had to choose 3, I’d say Pantera, The Black Dahlia Murder and Lamb Of God.

Tuan: My main influence ever for writing music and play bass is Downset, and I love Trivium and In Flames.

Adrien: I really love Parkway Drive, As I Lay Dying and Erra. They inspired me a lot, especially for Parkway Drive.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everything inspires us! For example, An Eternal Cold was based on a real story, a man who lost his wife and committed suicide. Another example is our upcoming single, "Crowned Clown", which is about the main character of a Japanese series.

6. Where was your last gig?

To be honest, we haven't got the chance to play gigs under the name of Arayana yet. We always had a ton of problems with our lineup, but now we're complete and we plan on playing a damn load of gigs!

7. Where would you like to act?

One of our dreams is to play at "Le Batofar" in Paris. Playing on a fucking boat, sink it with Jordan’s heavy screaming! We’d love to play at “Le Divan Du Monde” also in Paris.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Well, we've just fulfilled a personal ambition, which is to feature with a well-known vocalist in California. His name will be revealed soon with "Crowned Clown". But we'd love to feature with Daniel Tompkins from Tesseract and Colin Jeffs from Aversions Crown, and CJ McMahon from Thy Art Is Murder!

9. Whom not?

Jeffree Star, La Fouine or Céline Dion for sure haha!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Well, some of us have already played live. The tips we'd give would be to rehearse a bit before the live, to smoke a cigarette or chug a beer, chill with some fans etc... And then to forget all your problems when it’s time. You're here to perform and have fun, so go for it and let your energy explode. Bring the noise guys!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Make Them Suffer, The Black Dahlia Murder and Trivium, for sure.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A girl we knew asked Nevan and Jordan to sign on her boobs once, which was pretty fun. Another fun fact is that another girl we didn’t know sent us a picture of Arayana written on her boobs too. Looks like we’re surrounded by boob’s haha!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are truly amazing. We know that the band is really long to release new stuffs, we know that everyone is waiting for a gig but still, they wait patiently and send us kind words every time. We cherish them as we'd cherish our families. We always thank everyone who shares our music, help it spread as wide as possible and we always answer to pm etc…Thank you guys for being awesome with us.

14. What do you think of our site?

Well, we love your site! You guys really rock, we need people like you, promoting the international core scene, thank you so much!

15. Something to add?

Guys, we are working on our second ep, Acts Of Agony, and at the moment it sounds insane and really different from our previous stuffs, we put everything we had in the writing process. We can't wait to release it! Keep following us, we won't disappoint. 2k15 is ours! And thank you for the interview ;)
