Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band Black Diamonds from Russia, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Actually when we came up with the name for the group, we probably were thinking about a hundred different variants. The name should be simple and at the same time unforgettable - it was important for us. Someone suggested «Black Diamonds» and all of us liked it, nodded approvingly and agreed.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Because we like playing rock, having fun at the stage and expressing our emotions and thoughts through powerful riffs and heartfelt lyrics. In our opinion, no style of music is able to reflect our outlook more truly. Therefore, in our creativity you will see the elements of hard rock and post-hardcore and even Christian metalcore! We don't drive ourselves into a box, we just have fun and just play rock!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We've heard about each other, but were not intimately familiar.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Nick - Slipknot

Daynis - Asking Alexandria

Ray - The Devil Wears Prada

Antony - Parkway Drive

Gleb - Chunk! No Captain Chunk!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It depends. Someone is inspired by life itself, its events and moments. Sad and light in the memory as well. I (Ray - vox) am inspired by the universe, the Creator, things we can't understand, and that excites minds. The desire to understand what we do - to let the Creator help us to understand ourselves and nature. Faith plays an important role in the writing of texts.

6. Where was your last gig?

We all used to play in different groups, so everyone has its scenic experience, individual one. We haven't any concerts as a «Black Diamonds», though there were some offers. We want to remember our first time on the stage together, so we're preparing a great show full of emotions.

7. Where would you like to act?

We are all united in the opinion that they would like to perform at the festival Rock Am Ring. We think it is a great event, we want not only to see it live, but also to become part of it.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We really like what Joe Sturgis creates. Those are masterpieces . And I would like to work with him. To create a unique sound and style. 9. We don't want to feat with those who don't appreciate our time and desire. I won't tell about specific names, just if you want to be the best, you need to work with the best. With professionals.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Perhaps everyone felt nervous before his first performance, but in general we're experienced guys, so now on the scene all of us feel confident. An advice for beginners - don't be afraid of the crowd. It's scareful only as long as you don't start playing. As soon as you immerse yourself in the music, the crowd will be a reference for you and all that you will need to do - just to carry its feelings and emotions. And everything will go with a bang!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

It depends. The Chariot, Slipknot, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Parkway Drive, Artem Brewers, Memphis May Fire, Make Me Famous.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

They asked us about many strange things. Once they were trying to know, if someone of us is gay. Once they gossiped, that for the recording of our debut single, we gave 1000 of dollars (actually that record was made completely at home, but the quality of it strucked everybody).

13. What do you think of your fans?

These are the best people in the world!

14. What do you think of our site?

We really like your website because it informs visitors about completely different music from different parts of the world, and we are very flattered by your attention, as all members of the group are very pleased that you're interviewing at us!

15. Something to add?

We would like to send greetings to all readers of your website, great respect to all lovers of rock, and wish all budding musicians not to lose your way and create a really cool music! Stay rock! Peace!
