1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Well, what about our band's name. Ashes against the sky is a very dramatic image with a big contrast. Lyrical hero is lying looking in the sky with ashes around him. Ashes of the old World. If we want to build the new, better World we need to destroy the old one leaving only ashes. Everytime when we change our attitude toward life only sky stay the same. And also it sounds great. With a nice rhythm and with a right stress. By the way, Ash & Skies sounds like Ashen Skies.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It's all because we like it very much.This genre is really juicy.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Firstly, it was a guitarist & vocalist's studio project, but we decided that we want a full band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Our vocalist has a lot of favorite bands, such as: AC/DC, Guns'n'Roses, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, Def Leppard, Whitesnake and so on.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everyday's events, life experience, accidental meetings, maybe some persons.

6. Where was your last gig?

Nowhere, because we didn't have it yet.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere where people are waiting for us.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Sam Carter (Architects), Chris Fronzak (Attila), Danny Worsnop (We Are Harlot).

9. Whom not?

Nicki Minaj

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

It's always exciting to be on the stage even if you have a big experience. As we said we have no live perfomances yet but we are ready to show you what we've got.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Everybody met the music in different ways. We respect such bands as Asking Alexandria, Architects, Bring Me The Horizon and also classic rock bands.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To use russian language in our songs. It seems to me that english is the best songs' language.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We are happy that we have such people, thank you guys for your support. Musicians are nothing without their fans.

14. What do you think of our site?

We like it. It was interesting to read a lot of things on it.
