Shake Well Before - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Hardcore band Shake Well Before from Italy, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Hi everybody, I’m Fra and I play the guitar, the name “Shake Well Before” came out because of the different tastes in music of any band member (past and present).

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because we have fun in playing it, of course you don’t start to play metal to became famous rich or other stuff like that!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Personally I entered the band just after the release of “Goliath” and before that i only knew Ale (guitar), but yes when the band was formed they all know each other before.

4. Each band member favourite band?

I think that no one of us has just one favorite band, we all listen to lots of bands that we like i can make a very long list but i will forget something for sure!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everything can inspire us, listening to other bands, beer, the weather, a bird shitting on a car, everything.

6. Where was your last gig?

I think that it was in Milan, nice place and nice show even if I was awake from 2 days probably!

7. Where would you like to act?

In every place with people who wants to have fun and enjoy the music

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We have a feature with Francesco Artusato from Devil you Know and All Shall Perish in our new album “Woland”! He plays the solo on “Liars With Guns” and we are very proud to have him on that song! Talking about future feature well there are a lot of musicians that we appreciate and the list it’s so fucking long. It would be Fucking cool to have a feature with Lady Gaga!

9. Whom not?

With no one that wouldn’t fit in what we play.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Well playing our songs it’s probably our last problem at shows, and so I can talk for everyone in the band that we don’t suffer of stage fright. The tip could be that if you arrive at the show well prepared you can’t suffer of stage fright.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Another list of bands?! Well, in this case i could say Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, August Burns Red, Killswitch Engage, Texas In July.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Asked I don’t really know but I can told you that at a gig we had some lapel badge with SWB on it, a guy took one of those and stick that in his bare arm.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We are really happy to have some people that like what we do and their support is very important for us!

14. What do you think of our site?

That is a good site to know lots of new bands!
