A Symphony For Hannah - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Hannah is an alegoric name for someone you care too much to carry it in your heart no matter what happens, that person is so important that you would write a Symphony For that human

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Because we started to love Hardcore as we started to grow up, right now we play Melodic Hardcore/Heavy Hardcore due our diverse influences.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

No, our drummer knew our old lead guitar wich I met through a common friend, our two singers are best friends since childhood, I knew Fran, one of them because he was the boyfriend of my best friend and our actual bass player was a friend of our old lead guitar player, our actual lead guitar is a friend we knew through our manager.

Anxo (Drums) Silent Screams

Gil (lead guitar) Thy Art Is Murder

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Personal experiences

6. Where was your last gig?  

In la fábrica de Chocolate club, Vigo, Spain our hometown

7. Where would you like to act?  

Resurrection Fest or anywhere in UK or USA but, all around the world

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Charlie Holmes (Ex-Heart In Hand) Sam (Architects UK)

9. Whom not?  

Vic Fuentes haha

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Never had stage fight, just think that the gig is a rehearshal with a lot of friends!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Alex: Malevolence, Brutality Will Prevail, Heart In Hand, Pink Floyd, Title Fight, Heart In Hand  Chris: Many, many bands from many genres. From Aerosmith to Cannibal Corpse, from Iron Maiden to Sum41. The point is loving music and wanting yours to have a meaning.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

To remove our shirts haha

They are the band, we are nothing without them, thats the truth
