Cry Excess - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

It came to our minds just like that. We were reflecting on the actual state of the music industry and we felt this was the best name we could ever possibly find.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

Our music reflects ourselves and who we are We didn’t plan anything.   

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? Actually no    

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Jaxon : Papa roach 

Brian : Foo fighters 

Mark : Memphis may fire 

Andrew : While she sleeps 

Angie : Avenged sevenfold   

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

The experiences and all the shit we’ve been through in the last 4 years of activity.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Moscow @Yotaspace w/Eskimo Callboy.   

7. Where would you like to act? 

Everywhere in the globe.  

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Daniele Nelli from Upon this dawning.

9. Whom not? 

Any other musician coming from the fucked up Italian metal scene.   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Absolutely not.

Just be yourself , don’t give up on your dreams and dream big.   

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Definitely touring with Papa Roach and Korn was a pretty good experience and we learnt a lot from that. Both bands gave us a lot.   

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

To kiss her in front of her BF (J.V.)  

13. What do you think of your fans? 

They’re simply the best in the world We’re raising a new generation of people , you better be careful cuz our fans are definitely aware of who they are and they ain’t scared of shit!

It’s awesome.
