The Arcane Hate - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Groove/Djent band The Arcane Hate from Mexico, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
We wanted something deep, and that can describe us in some way; The Arcane Hate means three things: groove, passion, and feeling. Why I’m saying this? Because our music is that way, it’s heavy, and composed with dedication with the purpose to transmit pure energy.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
We like this kind of music because in it, we can really express what we feel, even more clearly than speaking our language. Sometimes a melody can say more than a long conversation of two or more people.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yeah for sure, we have been friends for some years before we started the band. Someday we decided to begin this and here we are talking very happy and grateful with you!
4. Each band member favorite band?
We like a lot of bands, it´s hard to type one in specific, every band has something that the other not have, and vice versa.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Everything that happens in life, struggles, experiences, challenges, etc. Our music is about self-improvement, goals, revelations, etc.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was here in our town (Queretaro Mx), it was the birthday of one friend of us, and he made a show to celebrate himself and decided to invite us just to have fun.
7. Where would you like to act?
United States and Europe are important places that we hope we can travel someday.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
We love acts like Messhugah, Korn, Behemoth, Slipknot, August Burns Red, Wovenwar, Skyharbor, etc.
9. Whom not?
With “El Komander”, and Paquita la del Barrio (or maybe with the second yes, but we need to talk first the five bandmates to decide haha)
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
I think that everyone has suffered stage fright at the first time playing a show, or even in a rehearsal, by the way, this only gets off with experience, and knowing that playing a show means the accomplishment of lots of hours practicing. Playing a show has to be the best experience of every musician, it´s just about having fun and forget about everything.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
There are a lot of bands that have inspired us in some way, like I said in the other answer, everyone has something that the other not have, it´s just about taking the best thing of each one and putting together.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
After playing a show, a guy was there crying asking everyone for weed!
13. What do you think of your fans?
They are the most important part of every band. Without them, bands cannot survive.
14. What do you think of our site?
It´s pretty cool because we see that you are giving the chance to new acts to share their talent. That´s the only way that someone can grow as a musician.
15. Something to add?
We would like to thank you guys for this opportunity to talk with you. It´s very important for us that new people can meet us through sites like yours. We recently released our first EP, and we invite all of you guys to hear it and following us in our social media!
