Rooftops - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore/Metalcore band Rooftops from UK, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Rafi was going through a very jubilant stage in his life. So he said he was so happy up high in rooftops and no one could bring him down. It also shows the bands’ unbiased take on issues and how we have an overview of things.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Initially we did not intend to play this style of music. We had intended to start a pop punk band. But our natural qualities leaned towards the more powerful and louder music genres. This mixed with our initial and more melodic ideas that we had possessed at the start led us to play a mix of metalcore, post hardcore and melodic hardcore.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Some of us knew each other but were not close, except for Damir and Rafi who had known each other for 3 years. Sam was introduced to Rafi by the former guitarist Tom Whitehead( who also plays guitar for illicit) and was eventually invited to join the band.
4. Each band member favorite band?
Rafi (Guitar) Our Last Night & Parkway Drive, Aidan (Guitar) Architects, Sam (Drums) Falling With Style & Being As An Ocean, Damir (Bass) Green Day & Tame Impalla, Jac (Vocals) While she sleeps & Bury Tommorrow.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
We use our lyrics as an outlet for our emotions, whereas it's related to our relationships or to the way we feel about the world and it's issues & enigmas.
6. Where was your last gig?
Fuel Rock Bar in Cardiff.
7. Where would you like to act?

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

9. Whom not?

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
