Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Hardcore band HEF from Argentina, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band was formerly called 'Hasta El Final' (which means Until The End, that is a common strong phrase used in Hardcore lyrics), and our bass player at the time, came with the idea of that name and we all liked it. After she left, at the end of 2014 for health issues, we decided to change the name, not just because it was her idea in the first place, but also 'cause we were turning into a diferent direction, musically. So we just leave the initals, and now we're HEF.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It's a powerful gender. Hardcore means so much more than noise and moshpits. It's a great culture with great people with strong values.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes! The drummer Felipe and I (Delfi, Vocalist), go to College together. And we also knew Shaly (guitar player) and Matt (bass player) from all the local shows we attend.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We kinda like the same bands. Shaly and I like Youth Of Today, Ten Yard Fight, Battery, Minor Threat, Bane, Have Heart, Verse. Feli prefers punk rock bands such as Ramones and Flema, which is a legendary punk rock band from Argentina. Matt likes H2O, Shelter, Trash Talk, Municipal Waste.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

When it comes to song writing, I just write about whatever is on my mind. Now, for the news songs, I put all my positive thoughts together and that's the message we want to send, that with a positive mental attitude you can achieve anything and be stronger than any bad vibe that comes right to you...!

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was a month ago at a local bar called 'Pura Vida',  in our city (La Plata) on April 19th. Now we have 4 more shows until August when we fly to Chile for a mini tour.

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd like to perform anywhere we are welcome. We'd like to visit as many cities and countries as we can.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

There are a lot of bands we admire, but we're happy when we feature with cool bands with cool and nice people.

9. Whom not?

I don't think there's a band we wouldn't play with...

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I wouldn't call it stage fright, but we all get really excited before a show. Shali and I get very anxious, but not frighten. A tip for anyone who experiences stage fright is that the best thing to do is to take a sit for a minute, before you go on stage, take a deep breath, drink a little bit of water and just think that everything's gonna be fine, and if it something goes wrong there's no big deal about it... Enjoy the show and make the people who are watching you, enjoy it as well.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We are inspired by a lot of bands, some I named it before, Youth Of Today, Minor Threat, Ramones, Have Heart, Battery, Chain Of Strength, Ten Yard Fight, Backtrack, Turnstile, Comeback Kid, Punch, My Last Failure, Wolf Down.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I think no one ever asked for something weird. But one time, after a show we featured with a band from Ecuador I think, the members of the band came to congratulate us, and of the them kissed me on the lips. I wasn't expecting that... at all!

13. What do you think of your fans?

The people who likes our band and come to the shows, are awesome!

14. What do you think of our site?

I checked it out and it's great. There's a lot of info about bands from around the world, it's great when a site spread hardcore, and all those kind of genders, worldwide! Keep doing that, 'cause you're doing an amazing job! THANKS!

15. Something to add?
