Hollow Lights - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Hardcore band Hollow Lights from USA, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

The idea of hollow lights is that we all have dimmed lights in all of us and we try to ignite that light to be bigger and brighter as a person

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

We plan this genre because it has a bigger meaning  which we can go heavy and light and probably at the same time which we love writing to, giving us a depth of reality.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Only three people knew each other and the other two members casually came along. Our vocalist Marcus moved here from Texas looking for a band and our other guitarist was looking for a band aswell.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Randy's is Circa Survive, mine (Marcus) is Tigers Jaw, Diego's, Johnny and Oscar is NorthLane,

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

As a guitarist, writing songs come from emotions or even memories or out of nowhere sometimes when something hits me. We/I really try to connect all the songs to a certain degree.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our last show was in October of 2014 at Recess Studios in Santa Ana with Adaliah and Mouth of the South.

7. Where would you like to play? 

Anywhere where people are passionate about music because we really enjoy playing anywhere. We wish to expand and play shows outside of California as soon as possible once the time comes.

8. Who would you like to feature with? 

Garrett Russell of Silent Planet which is actually in the works.

9. Who not? 

No one, as a band we try to connect to fans/people/and other bands.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Everyone has stage freight at first then it becomes normal after you start playing more and more to a crowd. Honestly you just have to stay calm and just have fun.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Silent planet, northlane, prepared like a bride, Adaliah, and Architects have deffinatley hit hard too us.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Nothing weird yet as we only played a couple of shows as Hollow Lights.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

Our driving force into becoming something better. All the fans who have been promoting and supporting us makes us want to go big in the future.

14. What do you think of our site? 

Your site is really great for band's trying to get a name for themsleves and to promote them as well which I can say as for every band grateful to have
