Let The Fire Burn - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore/Metalcore band Let The Fire Burn from Chile, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Danner named the band thinking about how things should be. He started to think "why trying to change the course of everything... if something has to burn, just let it burn.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Well, when we started this we all liked the genre. Besides, playing this kind of music didn't exclude the emotion and the feeling of the song. .

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We knew each others, but we were not friends like we are now. We just knew about each other existance, and we'd spent time together but not as a band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Danner: Bury Tomorrow

Jarys : Bullet for my Valentine

Johan: Periphery

Vicente : Led Zeppelin

Diego: August Burns Red.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Personally, I try to see the things around me, and I try to explain my position,I've been through hard situations that made me realise that writting was the best answer to push it back.

6. Where was your last gig?

It was at the Modern School of Music, in November 8th. It's been a long since that, but we're gonna be playing this May 30th.

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd like to be on Warped tour, but it's a little difficult due the distance. Anyways we're going to do our best to make it real.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Well, We'd like to make a feature with Matty Mullins, or Bullet for my Valentine indeed.

9. Whom not?

We wouldn't like to play feat Asking Alexandria.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes we have. We were sixteen the first time that we played as a band, and it was not a nice day. Our guitarist got his string broken and we were so nervious. But a sort of excercise that we do is jump to calm down ourselves. And once that we're in stage we just don't think, we just "let the fire burn" and live the music. The best tip that I could give to anyone is Enjoy the moment in stage, because it's the best.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We started playing a few covers from bands like Trivium, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying and Miss May I, but actually as a band I wouldn't dare to say only one. We want to make what we like.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

They always say "Can I touch your hair?" to Jarys. It's something weird and is always present after a gig..

13. What do you think of your fans?

They're amazing. They're always supporting us and talking to know where are we playing soon.

14. What do you think of our site?

The site is quite perfect to give everyone a chance to know new bands and also to the bands to get known.

15. Something to add?
