Montis Aero - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

We wanted to name the band after something that really meaned something to us. So we tried to think about names that were to do with where we came from. It ended up being Montis Aero ( latin for mountain air but changed a bit) because we are from the Blue mountains

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

Hardcore music is hella fun and we all love it, playing it just seemed right and we love it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yeah we were all mates that skated and went to school together

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Ben- Parkway drive

Sam- Sea haven

Finley- Red hot chilli peppers

Oli- In hearts

Coen- in hearts wake

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Pretty much everything we do haha

6. Where was your last gig? 

In a church, it was sick

7. Where would you like to act? 

Anywhere we can, a gig is a gig

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Anyone local I guess, we love local music. We also wanna play with some Sydney bands too like Polaris, Northlane and bands like Failure and Thy Art is murder

One direction

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

Weve only done two shows, but just go crazy and have a sick time

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Parkway Drive, Northlane, In hearts wake even locals like Polaris

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Show us ya tits- "Jed sinclair"

we appreciate that people dig our stuff
