Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band toRyse from Germany, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We sat together thinking about a band name, playing around with the first letters of our names. However we could not think of a suitable name that contained the beginning letters of each of our first names, but during the process of thinking about a band name we made up a new word which none of us had ever seen or heard before. Our band name leaves space for interpretation in many different directions.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Initially because we were all mostly into the same kind of music and the core genres.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

When we began we had hardly known each other before. Our vocalist started searching for band members via facebook and soon found some guys interested in making this kind of music. Unfortunately some of these guys changed their minds before rehearsing a single time as band together. During the search for new members our guitar player (Steff )remembered a good friend of him (Chris) and asked him to join in. Our bassist(Dali) had known Steff from rehearsing with another band before, they get along quite well so Steff asked him to join in. Our drummer Thorsten was recruited again via facebook when we had to replace our original drummer. We soon figured out that we all get along quite well with each other and have a lot of fun rehearsing and performing.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Thorsten: August Burns Red

Tom: I really can`t decide .there are simply too many bands I like

Dali: Hands like Houses

Steff: Darkest Hour, Affiance

Chris: I´ve got a lot of artists that I like to listen. At the moment I liste many Bands of the gerne: Metalcore, Post, Melodeath and Alternativ...

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Bands we like, daily life and issues more or less everyone has to deal with from time to time.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last show was in Sulzbach-Rosenberg ( Germany; Upper Palatinate). We had a great time there.

7. Where would you like to act?

We`re still at a point where every gig is interesting. But sure we dream of playing bigger stages. Hopefully we will be travelling around a bit as a band together in the future throughout Germany, step by step maybe some day throughout Europe or even greater distances than that.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

That`s difficult to answer because there are simply too many inspiring musicians in the scene.

9. Whom not?

Florian Silbereisen ?!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?

Of course we did. We still do. It would feel like we don`t care at all about the thing we are doing, about making music and trying to entertain people if we stopped being nervous before our own shows.

Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Relax! Most of the people in the audience might not know you personally. Some of them even might hear and see you for the first time. Try to have fun on stage and you might blow their minds . They may not have expected you to have this talent and the courage to go on stage.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Tom: Probably Nirvana and The Used

Steff: Bullet For My Valentine, Killswitch Engage

Thorsten: August Burns Red, Periphery, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Affiance

Dali: Hands like Houses,  As I lay Dying

Chris: When I started to play guitar it was: Children of Bodom and Killswitch Engage

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Tom: To slap his butt

Chris: They asked us only weird stuff..

Steff: nothing

Dali: Why are you so crazy on stage?

Thorsten: I'm just the drummer...

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are amazing and some kind of inspiration, too . This whole experience sometimes feels like being part of a family.
