Concealing The Sun - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore/Deathcore band Concealing The Sun from Spain, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name came from a phrase that we take from the band that we love and have influenced us the most.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We play this genre because is the one that we like.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, all of us were and are friends before and now.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Adam (screamer): It's so difficult to choose ONE band, but I will say Structures.

Jose (drummer): I have many bands that I love, but I will choose "AC/DC" as it is the band that made me listen and play music. They mean so much for me.

David (bassist): Maybe I choose "Glass Cloud" right now.

Guille (Guitarist): I don't really have a favorite one, but if i have to highlight one i would highlight "While she sleeps", I like how it sounds and the direction that they are taking.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Everything can inspire you, things that happen to you, problems, good days, bad days, something that you see.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was in a venue called Boom 13 in Seville (Spain), it was sick, there was between 130 to 150 people and we recorded the new music video for Curses that we are going to release soon.

7. Where would you like to act?  

We don't have like a big place that we would like to act in, we would like to play in a lot of countries and in a lot of fests and try to move as much as we can to get more known.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

We would like to feature with all the bands that we like and said previously.

9. Whom not?  

We would like to feature with everyone that want us to feature we, we don't have any reason to say no to another band that want us to be on his show or record. (If anyone is interested, message us).

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

No, we have never sufered that, it's normal to get bit nervous before the show. But the tip that we give to overcome that will be focusing in everything that you are doing and try to make a good show and ENJOY.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

There are a lot of bands that have inspire us, for example: Asking Alexandria, Blind Witness, Sylosis, BMTH, Linkin park, Miss May I,... A big list

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

One fan asked us to play in a his big birthday party, we think that it isn't that weird, but that was one of the weirdest or strangest things, it was really cool.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We are so proud of having people that support us and enjoy the work we are doing. They are the ones that make us feel big in every show and every time they share our work.

14. What do you think of our site?  

It's a really great site where people are able to discover new bands aswell as read news about more important ones.
