Daylight Come - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band Daylight Come from Philippines, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The idea of our band name is about hope and positivity in life, its like waiting and hoping that one day, everything will be different and everything will be fine and that there will be an end for all the struggles that we are going through.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
That's actually something that is common to us, we didn't really wanna play any specific genre or talk about what genre are we gonna play, its just that we all listen to this genre and there's nothing else we wanna play.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Not really, Yhan and Cholo and Han knew each other before, they were in different bands but they ended up leaving their bands and decided to form a band together and then Han let his friend bryan and wen join the band. thats pretty much a short story of how we started.
4. Each band member favourite band?
Yhan: Indirections, Like Moths to Flames
Cholo: Fit For A king, Woe is Me, Void of Vision
Han: Volumes
Bryan: Counterparts, Like Moths To Flames
Wen: Issues, Secrets
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
The bands that we listen to, family and friends who support us.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was in District 2140 Bar, that was the first event of a group which supports post-hardcore/metalcore scene in Manila. We had a lot of fun that night.
7. Where would you like to act?
We would like to tour first in our country, Philippines, if we have a chance, that would be great!
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
We'd love to feature with a lot of local bands in our country like lostthreads who has helped us.
9. Whom not?
There's no band that we wouldn't love to play with.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
I think all of us in our first gigs but I think its normal what matters is that we always have fun sharing our music, and we get to meet people, other bands and make friends.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Actually there's a lot but mostly Indirections, Like Moths to Flames, Fit for a king.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
We haven't played on a big stage or big events yet and we are not sure if we have fans to consider, maybe friends who support us and help us.
13. What do you think of your fans?
We are not that sure if we have fans, we treat them as our friends and besides we are just starting to record our songs to share our music to anyone.
14. What do you think of our site?
Its great, the idea of the site is amazing it will really help bands like us to share our music. We are grateful for this and we appreciate it very much.
15. Something to add?
As of now we are working on our EP album and hopefully be out this year. Support this site and the music scene!

All of them are really fun to be with, and are really down to earth. Their drummer (I call him kuya Bal), is this really quirky, adorable kuya that everyone can get along with. And I'd like to thank him tons for getting me started on playing the drums at his shop.
Miss you, dude!
