1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

“The Big Jazz Duo” is actually randomly chosen, then we created an useless explanation we’re not used to tell others. Just know we’re not two people playing jazz music.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Thomas: A friend of mine said Death Metal would’ve brought me eternal youth

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Thomas: Me, Pigo (drums), Cios(guitar) and Simon (bass) were friends already. We met Joseph (Guitar) when recording our first Ep “Of Imperishable Heroes”. Love at first sight!

4. Each band member favorite band?

Joseph: At The Gates

Thomas: Linkin Park

Cios: Killswitch Engage

Pigo: Linkin Park Simon: Nightwish

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Joseph: well, as far as concern my job: what I write is basically what “sounds” in my mind. It’s just like a “stream of consciousness” influenced by a lot of things. On the other side when I write “synths” parts I mostly get inspired by movies soundtracks 6. Where was your last gig? Verona with our bros Human Improvement Process!

7. Where would you like to act?

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

The Black Dahlia Murder, not for the music but just to party hard

9. Whom not?

Thomas: Sorry I cannot understand the question, maybe you mean “Which band wouldn’t like to feature with you”. ‘Cause I guess they’re many, we suck.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I don’t think any of us was ever affected by stage fright, even in the “early age”. Best tip is “rehearse”, then when you think it’is ok start rehearsing again. And again. If you don’t succeed try with alcohol

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Metallica, Luciano Pavarotti, Twisted Sisters

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Cios: I can’t really remember but fans are not used to ask, they’re used to do shit without asking. That’s why we often kidnap them

13. What do you think of your fans?

You have some serious problems but we love you all

14. What do you think of our site?

It depends on how much you pay. For example 20£ means an ugly feedback, 50£ medium, 100£ or more and then we love you.

15. Something to add?

Metal is just a false pretense to drink oceans of beer and do illegal things, talk about satan 666 and fuck hot chicks so please do not take us that seriously, mates.
