Brothers Till We Die - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Beatdown Metalcore band Brothers Till We Die from Spain, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We were fans of YourDemise, so there is a song (scared of the light) that says our name (brothers till we die, truer words were never spoken!). we loved those words, they mean all what brothers is, so we decided to call the band BTWD.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?  

Each band member loves this music, we play this music cause we love people to get crazy in the gigs. People who come to a brothers till we die shows want to hear heavy music to dance like hell, it's awesome to see people breaking their noses in a down tempo breakdown.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

My name's Edu (guitar) I'm the last one entering the formation and I knew these guys from other gigs and stuff  but the most important thing was what people said about them and what I know now from first hand. It's very hard to find someone who doesn't get on well with them they are best bros  you can find because they are a family and that's what I most value on a band. It's a fact that you can feel even when we are on the stage.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Felipe: core band- I'm really into malevolence these days. non core band, Pink Floyd.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

I love listen to what people has to say. people tell me their problems with their friends, family, with themselves, and I love to get inspired by that. Our lyrics are made for people who want to scream their lungs out their problems.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We made 2 dates in Galicia, in two different cities this weekend. it is always lovely to know new people. it was sick!

7. Where would you like to act?  

We'd love to go to england, also belgium or france.  8. Whom would you like to feature with?  We'd love to feature with Nasty, masters of fucked up music.

9. Whom not?  

George bush.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Well On my experience (Edu) If you have a full set that's been well prepared with songs that you love you wont have to think it will just come from within.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

In the beginning of this band, we used to listen to bands like Stick To Your Guns, The Ghost Inside, your Demise, Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive... nowadays we're really influenced by heavy hardcore and beatdown bands like Desolated, Malevolence, nasty or lionheart, also bands like brutallity will prevail, and some tecnical bands thanks to our handsome new guitar player .

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Agirl asked a member of this band to sign her tits, goal achieved, platinum trophy.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the most beatiful and crazy fans ever and obviously we love them, also all people we get to know thanks to our gigs, become our friends, so we're making lots of friends around spain (and some of them also european friends like our beloved ELIAS!)

14. What do you think of our site?

I've been following for long now and I think you're doing an important work here promoting small bands but keeping it updated with good quality bands not just ''starter bands''
