Adamas - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Metalcore band Adamas from Israel, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We heard the name at an art exhibition

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

This genre is a huge part of our lives, we sort of live by and with it, by the energy it’s getting us, it’s the genre we can naturally express our emotions and ideologies by.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Amit, Boaz and Ilay grew up together since age of 15 as part of a large skaters group in Or Yehuda, later on, when they began rehearsing at Studio Z, where they met Orel, later on in 2012, they Auditioned Nir and together we joined forces to our common goal which is taking over the world!!!!

4. Each band member favourite band?

Amit: U2

Boaz: Pink Floyd, killswitch Engage

Ilay: The Dave Brubeck Quartet

Nirosan: Threat Signal

Orel:  Motionless in White

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

We’ve got no inspirations, we’ve got emotions that guide us.

6. Where was your last gig?

At Wunderbar, Haifa with Ferium- awesome death metal band from israel. Our first gig was at MATEHETFEST II a local bands’ mini fest, at HaMartef club at Ra’anana.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Wembley- UK

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects.

9. Whom not?  

Bands that promotes negative agendas in their music, such as: racism, hatred, violence etc.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We do not suffer from stage fright, we experience some sort of excitement, but our only fear is the possibility that we won’t get excited by it anymore.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

KSE, LOG, ARCHITECTS, MIW, ABR

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing weird yet.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

As Anthony Burgess said  “I viddied that thinking is for the gloopy ones and that the oomny ones use like inspiration and what Bog sends. For now it was lovely music that came to my aid."  We don’t think much about them. We just love and thank them for their huge support by being there for us on our special moment on the stage and outside of it.
