Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Metalcore studio project Awake To Eternity from Spain, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Initially our name was Awake In Flames, but the bassist left the band and we seek another path and start again at the beginning, so we found the name that completely defined us. Current Awake To Eternity.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It’s a style that can transmit all our rage and strength but also can combine with slower and melodic parts.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

At first Jose (Guitar), Samuel (Guitar) and Elias (Drums) played together in another band, but they decided to start a new project and contacted with GT (Voice) and Shen (Bass) because they were old friends.

4. Each band member favourite band?

GT – Bury Tomorrow

Jose – Sirens & Sailors

Sam – August Burns Red

Shen – Parkway Drive

Elías – August Burns Red.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Our inspiration comes from the fusion of many ideas from other bands that influence us with the respective adaptation to our own style that defines us.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played in Benidorm on the Backstage Room with our friends World To Come and Fear My Intentions.

7. Where would you like to act?

Currently we would like to play the Resurrection Fest because we think it’s a festival that is well suited for our international musical style.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We like to play with our same gender bands, no matter whose.

9. Whom not?

We do not have prejudices when playing with a particular band.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We are a beginner band with very few shows, so when we go on stage we still felt insecure and is one of the things that we must improve. As a tip, do so many gigs as possible and don’t think that is going to fail, just always move forward.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Our influences are many and each member of the band come from very different musical branches, but our most influential bands are: Parkway Drive, For Today, August Burns Red, Bury Tomorrow, Blessthefall.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Currently we have no fans, but like anecdote our families and closest friends are surprised with our style and tell us that we should play more peaceful music.

13. What do you think of your fans?

As we said previously, to our gigs come family and friends but we have no fans. We wait to give us more known.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think your site is a good way to make known this kind of music, and also gives an opportunity to the beginners bands, which gradually want to be known. Since in Spain this was a style that didn’t have much impact and now it seems that is emerging more and more good bands with young people which if we pay attention, they give us so much to talk about.

15. Something to add?

We have to thank the site to contact us for an interview and finally report that we will soon have a lot of our own songs ready for future gigs.
