Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Hardcore/Metalcore band Matter Of Act from Greece, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The idea for the band name came from our vocalist,George.It's like a wordplay on the phrase "matter of fact",and it's like an ironic comment on modern society's many aspects,where a lot of things are fake and acted out.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We have actually changed our genre since the time of the band's inception.Started out with an alternative metal sound (e.g Drowning Pool,Disturbed),but then we drifted more into metalcore and melodic hardcore,as we found that it sparked more interest to us than the previous genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

We did,we live in the suburbs of Athens,we all grew up together,went to school together and just decided to form a band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

George T. - Trivium

George S. - Killswitch Engage

Tasos - Parkway Drive

Alex - Eluveitie

Thymios - Northlane

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Musically,listening to interesting music brings a lot of inspiration for new songs to be written.Now lyric-wise,it's any aspect of reality that George is inspired to write lyrics about.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We went into the studio to record the single in the summer,so we haven't gigged since February this year,but very soon we are going to announce upcoming live shows.

7. Where would you like to act?  

As a young band,we have a lot of aspirations of playing large gigs and festivals all over the globe.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Definately the bands we mentioned earlier,but really we'd be stoked to play with any good band.

9. Whom not?  

Pop stars.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?  Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

All of us get stage fright,a bit of stage fright is good for the show,it keeps you on your toes,and also it all goes away when you start playing.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

We are inspired by bands that are unique,true to what they preach and respect their fans.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

We don't know,even autographs are weird to us,as we don't really have like a huge fanbase.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They are great people,we know each and every one of them!

14. What do you think of our site?  

We are very excited that there are pages like yours,supporting young bands and giving them exposure to more audiences.
