RENACER - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Post-Hardcore band RENACER from USA, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name means "To Revive" we wanted something positive to reflect our message.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I don't think we necessarily chose a genre, we just played from our hearts and that's the sound that came out. We are always evolving our sound and our tastes are always evolving as well.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Matt and I have been friends for a really long time from being in other bands, but we really connected about 2 years ago when we started working together at our job.

4. Each band member favourite band?

I think at the moment my(Mike) favorite artists are The Weeknd, Blackbear, Pvris and Emarosa.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I think just life and growing up is how I write music, I never really say "I need to write a song today" It just comes to me and I end up being inspired to sit down and write. Those always seem like the best songs.

6. Where was your last gig?

Masquerade in Atlanta, GA

7. Where would you like to act?

8. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I think anyone performing on stage will have a little stage fright, I think if you don't you're not doing it right. My best tip to beat stage fright is to just go out there and perform your art. You spent the time to learn your craft and write your songs and if you are happy with what you have created, don't worry what other people may think.

9. What bands have inspired you the most?

Any band not afraid to be themselves inspires me, any artist willing to stay true to themselves is an inspiration to me.

10. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing too crazy, we are all real, so when we interact with our fans, it just feels like talking to a friend.

11. What do you think of your fans?

I have so much respect for the people who listen to our music. We get emails daily from people who get inspired from what we have created and I couldn't ask for more.

12. What do you think of our site?

Love what you're doing, it's important to continue to grow no matter what is happening in the world of music. Keep it up
