In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Metalcore band End Of Atlas from UK, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Zach: We had loads of names based off lyrics from bands we liked and random words thrown together, by the end of it Dano suggested this and we stuck with it!

Dano: In the early days of the band we all tried to come up with a name for the band that simply sounded good. Eventually Dano came up with End Of The Atlas and we all quite liked it. We ran with it for a few weeks while we came up with other ideas but stuck by it when we released our official facebook page.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Zach: For me it's about the community. It's such a small community and every band knows every other band and people help each other out alot. This music is something we've all grown up with and it's so full of emotion and anger. Personally for me it's like an escape and a way of letting out any feelings. And when you go to these kind of gigs you just feel something in the atmosphere, its indescribable.

Dan: I've been going to gigs ever since i can remember in this genre, the atmosphere and crowd reaction at pretty much all gigs in this genre is unbelievable, and you can see how much it means to everyone, from the crowd all the way upto the people performing.

Dano: The Metalcore/Hardcore genre has always been sort of a ‘middle point’ for all the members to link with. Even with the six original members we have all forever had different tastes in music so this genre sort of combines most of what we all love into one package.

Scott: It's a mix of crushing heavy verses and catchy choruses, what's not to like?

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

It's such a long story, Zach and Dan met in college, went on a trip with college and found Dano. Wrote some bass and electric drum stuff in a caravan. a year later Zach met Scott at a gig and then this year Nnanna was sent to us as a miracle  child and we adopted him as our own.

Dan: In college a few of us knew each other that way, thats how the band was formed originally, in a caravan in Filey on a school trip, screaming away to whatever was on our Ipod.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zach: The Ghost Inside / In Hearts Wake.

Dan: A Day to remember.

Dano: Chainsaw Castration.

Nnanna: August Burns Red.

Scott: The Story so far.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Nnanna: I write from personal Experience and situations i find myself in.

Zach: I think as cliche as it sounds we write about things thats happened to us, family, friends or just the state of the world.   I Write lyrics about things i don't like to talk about or don't know how to. I usually write when something annoys me haha.

Dan: Jeremy Mckinnon suprisingly enough, i take alot of inspiration from him, in interviews he talks about how bad he was at first, and over time develouped and how you can get so much more out of your songs if the lyrics are spot on, also on the flip side to that, i also take some inspiration from rap/rnb, which is why sometimes attila style lyrics may slip in a song or two.

Dano: A lot of our inspiration comes from different sources simply because of our mix in tastes (again). Nnanna (Lead Guitar) is a huge fan of August Burns Red which is reflected in the songs he writes whereas as im  a big fan of really heavy genres so my songs tend to have more hardcore related riffs and beatdowns.

Scott: Lyrics for me are personal but I've always taken notes from Jason Lancaster.

6. Where was your last gig?

Nation Of shopkeepers in Leeds with Victory heights and scream blue murder.

7. Where would you like to act?

Zach: Warped tour USA, Download, ANYWHERE. give us a gig anywhere and we're happy.

Dan: Download Festival for sure, that is the one, you can't beat the atmosphere there.

Dano: The US would be a fantastic place to act. The metalcore/hardcore scene over there is much bigger than any other country so having a larger audience in front of us all loving the music we play would be incredible.

Scott:  02 Academy in Leeds.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Nnanna: Jb brubaker and brent rambler of August Burns Red.

Zach: Daniel Bates from Bury tomorrow, Susan Boyle, Chuckle Brothers.

Dan: A Day To Remember, Issues, Thy Art Is Murder, S Club 7, Blue.

Dano: Bands like The Ghost Inside, The Amity Affliction, In Hearts Wake and August Burns Red.

Scott: Issues.

9. Whom not?

Zach: Tom Gill.

Dan: Anyone from Xfactor.

Scott: Blood on the dance floor, never ever in a thousand years.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Nnanna: Yes, just do what you do the confidence builds up as youre having fun  Zach - go for a shit before you play. I still get like that but once you're in the zone you dont even think about it!

Dan: When we first started out, we were definatley scared/worried about the reaction that we'd get, i mean we'd never done anything like this before, beating it? i don't think you can, you'll always get some butterflies or abit nervous before you go out and play, if you didn't then i'd start getting worried, because that probably means you don't care that much, just use the mixture of feelings to your advantage, own it.

Dano: Quite of few of us have suffered stage fright and still do. My main tip is to just abolish all self consciousness and just go for it. Jump around. Head bang. Get into the crowd. Do everything you can to take your mind off performing and show off all the energy you can. It also makes for an outstanding show for the crowd too!

Scott: Hard to get stage fright when you can't see for the stage lights! But just get pumped and let adrenaline do the rest.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Zach: August burns red, bury tomorrow, The ghost inside, Marty Defiled, miss may I. Dano's favourite is Blood on the dance floor 100% honest...

Dan: Guns N Roses were a massive part for me growing up, Fall Out Boy also, they really got me into enjoying music, and from then on i progressed to A Day To Remember and so on!

Scott: Lyrically, knuckle puck and Tssf, musically I go with Asking Alexandria and Bury tomorrow.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Dan: I guess not weird, but for lessons on how to scream, i mean what can i say? i have no clue myself.

Zach: Not really fans but when we meet people they find out we're in a band they are baffled to why we play music that is so loud and has some one screaming on it haha.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Zach: We absolutely love them. The fact people have stopped us before to ask about gigs and we've never met them is insane. We just had a CD order from China, Germany and America too which is incredible. To think we have people who follow what we do so passionately is insane!

Nnanna: They're the best and make everything worth it.

Dan: They're amazing, this new album has really helped us reach out to new audiences, but the faithful ones that have stuck around, even when we were a bit rubbish and come to gigs whenever we play, they're the real MVP.

Dano: We love our fans both here in the UK and abroad. The people nearby us always show us such great support when turning up to our shows and talking to us but the people in other countries just blow our minds by ordering merch and leaving us with such awesome feedback and some of the nicest inspirational messages! Stuff like that keeps us going forward knowing that it is all worth it.

Scott: They're the reason we are where we are, that support keeps you going.

14. What do you think of our site?

Zach: Its great how you've got the option for smaller bands to get themselves out there and seen.

Dano: We love your site! Your efforts to help promote unsigned bands and get amazing music out to the masses are amazing.

15. Something to add?

Zach: We're just grateful for each and every person who takes the time of day to send us messages about our music, buy our merch and help us out anyway possible. We cannot stress enough how important you all are to this band and how much each and everyone of us appreciates you.

Dan: Check out our new album, cheeeeeers!

Scott: Needs more pizza, not enough boney knees.
