In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Melodic Hardcore band Exhibitors from Singapore, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name came about by as we were just putting out names on the table and our guitarist nick suggested exhibitors and we felt that suited us best. It doesn't have a specific meaning to the band.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We wanted to play this genre as not a lot of bands in Singapore play melodic hardcore and figured it would be something fresh for the local music scene here, and also we really look up to and listen to great melodic hardcore bands like hundredth.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes! Nick and I(Chris) are best friends and we've been studying in the same schools ever since we were 13 years old. Adryan and Nick were classmates in primary school so they go way back. We met our drummer Bom and other guitarist Farhan along the way but we knew them before the band was formed as well.

4. Each band member favourite band?

We listen to a lot of music and probably don't have a specific favorite but to name a few it'd definitely be hundredth, counterparts, the ghost inside, more than life, landscapes and many more.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Bands we look up to inspire us and help us in our song writing process and the lyrics written are also personal reflections or experiences that we've had as a band be it together or individually.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last show was at this place called Neverland where we were the opening act for UK band While She Sleeps for their SEA tour stop in Singapore! It was definitely a night to remember and one off the bucket list as we look up to them a lot as musicians as well. Really humble and down to earth dudes!

7. Where would you like to act?

We'd like to play in the states, UK and Japan someday and hopefully we'll be able to accomplish that.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

At this point in time I would say being supports for hundredth would be a really sick idea!

9. Whom not?

We don't have any particular bands we wouldn't Wanna be featured together with so we're good with almost anyone!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?  Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

We were all pretty nervous when we played our first show wondering if people would be receptive to what we play as its a new genre but it gets better as you play more and more shows. I'd say if you're a beginner, the most important thing is to just make sure you're having fun on stage and playing your heart out with your friends. That makes the stage fright a lot easier to cope with.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

It really depends, in terms of song writing counterparts really amazes us with each new record they put out, it never gets boring and yet they're still able to keep their sound and not change.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

It would probably be this dude who came up to ask for our signatures on a copy of our EP when we played the biggest annual music festival in singapore which happened back in June, it's called Baybeats. It was only weird because we didnt expect it at all but he was a real nice chap and was really supportive of our music and we're forever grateful for that.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Without them we wouldn't be where we are today. Theyre really supportive!

14. What do you think of our site?

We think it's pretty cool! It's always good to have sites like these which helps promotes bands from around the world.

15. Something to add?

THANK YOU GUYS FOR HAVING US! :) We're also releasing a new single and a music video for that so you can keep a lookout! And more exciting stuff from us in the near future! Till then!
