Fourscore - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Hardcore band Fourscore from Spain, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The only reason was the dictionary… xD. We were in the pavilion we used to play, and we start searching for some names, and we finally choose Fourscore.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Because it has been our way of live since we were kids. We have grown up in this ambient.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Not in the current line-up, because we have made some changes in our line-up during the life of the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

It’s very difficult to choose one band. There would be a lot of bands to mention, for example: Comeback Kid, The Ghost Inside, Agnostic Front, Madball… We can’t choose just one.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

The things we live everyday, as for example the Hardcore scene, claiming a joined scene. We like positive messages, attitude… That’s what we think Hardcore is. If you don’t support your local scene, you can’t try to make a scene.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last Gig was in our city, vitoria-Gasteiz. We played in the Gaztetxe with No Regret, Worth It and Tiempos de Ira. A great concert, where everyone was dancing and we are proud of it.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Everyplace where we could play our songs and make a nice gig. We would like to go to Europe. We have been in France, but it would be great going to every country of Europe, like Germany, Great Britain, Holland…

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

There are a lot of bands we would like to feature. In fact we have played with some of them, like Madball, Agnostic Front, Devil in Me… but one band we would really to feature with is Comeback Kid.

9. Whom not?  

It’s pretty difficul to answer this… I don’t Know, sometimes there are many bands we don’t like because of their attitude, high egos… And those bands are the ones we don’t want to play with.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Sometimes, but it’s not typical. In fact, when you play often, the fright doesn’t exist… at the end, it’s your best hobby and you take it as well. Any tip? Just enjoy the time in the stage because it’s one of the best feelings in this world!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

If we have to choose one band it would be Comeback Kid because of their music and their lyirics. Also Madball would be another one, Sick Of It All… Many bands… so much bands.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing weird yet.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We don’t have fans, only friends. The people who likes our music are our friends.

14. What do you think of our site?  

It’s great to find information about the present of the hardcore and metal music, so just continue with this great word.
