Sin Miedo Al Oceano - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Djent band Sin Miedo Al Oceano from Spain, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The five of us came up with the name after thinking for sometime .To us it represents the fact of not fearing the biggest unknown we could ever face.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We don't really limit ourselves to only one genre ,our intention is to combine different styles in order to express our strenght ,energy and feelings.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes , Kaly (the singer) and Alvaro (Guitar player) know each other from different projects while Luciano (Bass) and César (Guitar player) were already working together .This project started with César,Luciano and Álvaro and after many changes , Damian (drums) and Kaly joined in .

4. Each band member favourite band?  

We like different styles and we all listen to a large variety of music .If we have to chose:

Damián: Gojira

Alvaro : Periphery

Kaly: Architects

César: Green Day

Luciano: Blessthefall

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

We are inspired by personal experiences and by different sounds that can come in the shape of songs or in any other way.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We're still preparing our fisrt concerts ,when they are done ,we'll start organizing the first "Sin Miedo al Oceáno " Tour.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Our aim is to travel a round the world .We don't believe in boders.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

With Nazareno Antolini (Deny).

9. Whom not?  

Abraham Mateo or The Gemeliers (Laughs).

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Kaly is the only member who has had any problem .Her advice is to suck it up , no matter what . The show must go on !

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

As we said before. We listen to a wide range of music . Our musical influences would be : Periphery ,Deny ,Valor Interior ,Architects ,Bury Tomorrow ,Blessthefall ,Thy art is murder ,August burns red ,Napoleon , Devil Driver ,Gojira.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Up to know nothing too wacky.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

This band grows thanks to every new fan that joins our Sin Miedo al Oceáno family.

14. What do you think of our site?  

We are really gratefull for the support ,wbsites like this one help bands to gain recognition on the scene.
