Wheninrome - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Melodic Hardcore/Metalcore band Wheninrome from UK, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Well, over the years we have been through a few different stages of the band including a few different band names. When we decided to take up music seriously we were throwing around ideas for names of the band and we just stumbled across the name.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We never set out to be in a specific genre but as cliché as it sounds we just write what we like and if it sounds good then that's what we strife for.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes, joey Johnny and Joe have known each other since secondary school. Joe met Ollie at college, introduced him to the band. Joey and Johnny met Harry at download festival later to find out that he was on the same college course as joey the year after.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Joe - As I lay dying

Joey - Pierce the Veil

Johnny - Crown the Empire

Ollie - The Devil wears Parda

Harry - Parkway Drive

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Watching Band documentaries have become a favourite pass time and helps us to become inspired to write better and more creative material.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our friend had asked us to play his 18th birthday party last month at his house.

7. Where would you like to act?  

We'd love to play either download festival or warped tour USA.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Caleb Shomo from beartooth or Loz Taylor from While She Sleeps as we are big fans of their vocal game.

9. Whom not?  

Bryan stars.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yeah all of us have really. We still get it now but we just love to play live music which is worth it for the nerves you get.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Joey - counterparts and 21 pilots

Johnny - ghost inside and mewithoutyou

Joe - blessthefall and parkway drive

Ollie - neck deep and devildriver

Harry - architects and the amity affliction.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing really strange jumps out but we've have a lot of people from foreign countries asking us to play their houses. Which is kinda cool.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Any support for us is greatly appreciated throughout the band. All the merch sales and nice comments mean the world to us.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think it's really cool how this site supports small bands like ourselves and helps get us out there.
