We Have The Moon - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Electrocore band We Have The Moon Ny from Italy, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Once we were called “Re:plica”, but we played a different genre with a different singer. We changed our mood into a more crazy and social one so the name had to change too, “We Have The Moon” was the result. That means: “If someone can reach and walk on the moon, we can easily overcome our problems and build up our dreams”.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We thought that synthesizers could help us realize our ideas with their versatility. Besides we aim to build our tracks on two features: Electronic sounds and grit. Here we have our Genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we didn’t. Makku and Aki knew themselves forming Re:plica. Gedd joined us when we were changing the name into WHTM and Morse by summer 2015.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Makku loves Enter Shikari, Aki's fav band is Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, Gedd is totally in love with Queen and Morse with Bring Me The Horizon.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We are inspired by lots of things, mostly the infinite force that flashes inside us all, but also about space and sci-fi concepts. Every little thing we live can actually inspire new works.

6. Where was your last gig?

November 8th in Turin, an awesome live, the location was a former mental institution. Something crazy but also fascinating!

7. Where would you like to act?

Our dream is to organize a tour in Japan. Some of our favourite bands are from Japan and everyone of us has different interests in Japan, regardless of the music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Obviously with Enter Shikari! But also with Helia, one of most influent bands of our genre here in Italy!

9. Whom not?  

For sure we wouldn’t feature with someone who doesn’t appreciate what we’re doing, but first he wouldn’t do that! (Laugh)

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We're always a little bit scared, but after all we understood that there is no matter to fear something on stage. Do your work, have fun and kick some asses on stage! Everything will be ok! Furthermore, we guess that if you don’t get that shiver down your spine, that’s not making sense! We’re dealing with emotions, aren’t we?

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Enter Shikari, Asking Alexandria and Attack Attack!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

By now we haven’t seen real strange stuff, but we’ll let you know as soon as we’ll experience our first tour that we are planning!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are fantastic! We are seeing them growing up gig after gig and that's a priceless emotion. When we play in front of them we are fulfilled of a magic fuel that makes us go crazy on stage.

14. What do you think of our site?

That's a great idea and well built! It's always cool when guys like you help our genre and music to grow up! After all we are just like a big family all over the world! We have to unite and work together!
