The Fall Of Autumn - Interview
In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Post-Hardcore/Metalcore band The Fall Of Autumnn from USA, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Chris: The band name just kinda came to me. There isn't really any deeper meaning behind it. Autumn is my favorite season, and I thought the name sounded good.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
Chris: I write metalcore music because it fits with the lyrics and what I am writing about. When there is a lot of rage inside of you, you tend to want to scream it. Also, I always loved the rush I get from going to metalcore shows. The intensity is wonderful.
Nick: Ever since I heard my first Underoath album, I've been into metalcore. It was so meaningful, yet so powerful and so fun to listen to. I used to always want to be just like them. Now I want to create something new.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Chris: Well, considering the fact that we are brothers, we have known each other forever.
4. Each band member favourite band?
Chris: My favorite band would have to be Falling in Reverse. I am actually a pretty big Ronnie Radke fan. I very much enjoy all of his work from old Escape the Fate to Falling in Reverse to his rap music.
Nick: That's a tough one. I love so many different bands... But the one band I can't even go a day or two without listening is Angels & Airwaves.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Chris: When I'm writing a song, what inspires me the most is my own experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Writing music has always been a healthy way for me to express myself.
Nick: If I had to pick one person, I'd give it to Tom DeLonge. I've loved Blink-182 for as long as I can remember and I've seen him grow into starting Angels & Airwaves. I became more and more interested in his words and finally I started writing myself after reading his lyrics over and over. Other than him, it's also just past experiences I've been through. Some good and some bad. Whatever they might've been, I'd usually end up in bed at the end of the day to write about it.
6. Where was your last gig?
Chris: Actually, because we are only 2 people, it makes it a little hard to play a legitimate show. However, we are in the process of looking for other members to fill the lineup, so shows in the future are definitely a possibility.
7. Where would you like to act?
Chris: Anywhere and everywhere.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Chris: I think it would be awesome to feature with just about anyone in the genre. Some examples would be We Came as Romans, The Word Alive, I See Stars, A Skylit Drive, Falling in Reverse, BlesstheFall, etc.
9. Whom not?
Chris: Nothing to answer here.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Chris: I actually deal with anxiety disorder and it gives me terrible stage fright when it comes to performing in front of people. I would say the best way to beat it is to just relax and do it because you love it. Don't worry about what others think. Just have fun.
Nick: I've had stage fright my whole life. Even taking choir in high school was like hell to me. But with time, it all gets better. My word of advice would have to be forgot about what could happen and just do it. You're performing for you and the fans you love, so give it all you got.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Chris: The bands that have inspired me the most are Falling in Reverse, Escape the Fate, and We Came as Romans.
Nick: I've been inspired by many artists. I can always go for A Skylit Drive and The Word Alive, along with Bring Me The Horizon and bands like Of Mice & Men and We Came As Romans. I also have a passion for softer music like Angels & Airwaves, The Beatles, Elton John, 30 Seconds To Mars and Oasis.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Chris: I can't really think of anything too weird that a fan has asked me for.
Nick: Nothing too weird has came across yet. Just the normal "When will you be performing for me?" or "Can I come to practice with you?" but this band is still young so there's still plenty of time for the odd questions.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Chris: We think that anyone and everyone who listens to our music is absolutely awesome. They are the coolest people in the world, and we are very thankful for me.
14. What do you think of our site?
Chris: We think it's awesome that the site promotes hardcore music.
