Dayavail - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Post-Hardcore band Dayavail from Italy, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

The idea for the name came out from the thought that the music has two objectives, to transmit an emotion by the musician to the listener, and as a listener, to get a message from that emotions, and what came out is Dayavail, a word that remember us our path in music.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We play this genre because is the best genre to transmit certain emotions and because we all grow up listening to it!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

No, everyone met everyone in our first rehearsal as a band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Avenged Sevenfold, Escape the Fate, Parkway Drive, We Came As Romans, Being As An Ocean.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We're inspired by the world around us, our wins, our loss, our darkest moments and the will to fight them and react to all the evil things in life, in a song we wrote "Show me the way to combine every scar in my life with the joy, to react to protect to discover how to see the stars." We think that is our mantra, you know.

6. Where was your last gig?  

We didn´t play any gig yet and we don't have any gigs booked because it's our first demo, but we're working to get the first gig very soon!

7. Where would you like to act?  

We would like to act in our city, in front of our friends and in front of the people who love our music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to feature with Hopes Die Last, that will be a dream!

9. Whom not?  

We don't hate anyone in particular!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Yeah, everyone is a little bit scared at the beginning, a great tip consist on thinking that no one in the public is better than you, and that your only job is to play songs!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

We get inspired from the post hardcore and melodic hardcore scene in general.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

They didn't ask us nothing in particular at the moment, but in the future, who knows!

13. What do you think of your fans?  

About our fans, we think that they are becoming more and more everyday!

14. What do you think of our site?  

Great site! Our´s is under construction right now!
