Interviews: Elisions
In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Progressive Deathcore/Metal internet band Elisions from around the world, as their members are from different countries. 1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
We believe this name now suits our band due to less of a contrast in lyrical/song theme.
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
We have the a similar of thinking and perspective as well as our style of working fits to the other members.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes we have all known each other previously to the forming of Elisions.
4. Each band member's favourite band?
I personally like a variety of bands but my favourite is veil of maya. Jack’s favorite would probably be periphery. Our vocalist Oscar enjoys listening to the band Legends. Our drummer Josh enjoys most bands in the deathcore genre.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Humanity's last breathe were a huge inspiration to us.
6. Where was your last gig?
We unfortunately haven’t had a chance to play live due to the fact that our band is an online project with members from all over the world.
7. Where would you like to act?
Preferably somewhere in the U.K.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
I would love to be featured with any of the members from Veil Of Maya.
9. Whom not?
About that ! Umm we want to be featured with everyone!
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
We haven’t had the opportunity to test that out yet but should be interesting to see when we play our first live gig.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Some of our biggest influences are Thy Art Is Murder and Humanity's Last Breath.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
We haven’t been asked any outlandish questions yet in this stage of our career but also would be interesting when that finally happens.
13. What do you think of your fans?
The fans that we have mean the world to us and we appreciate all the support they give us.
14. What do you think of our site?
I very much enjoy your site and like seeing the support you guys provide for smaller and less known bands.
