In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Metalcore band Lust For Wounds from Spain, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

1.Lust for wounds was the only name where actually all of us gave ideas. We all had different names but when Lust for Wounds came into the conversation we all knew that had to be that one. The idea came from the expression "lust for words" haha.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We all have played before with bands of the genre. I (Ivan) was the guitarist for "The agony of silence" in 2011, our drummer Freddy is the "Truth or consequences" band drummer. We are all into the same style, so everything that we do will always be around Metalcore or Deathcore. We wanted to do something "pure". Very straightforward. Pure metalcore.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, (Ivan, vocalist) I was the last one in join the band. They knew each other from before but I did not.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Ivan-Rammstein

Ojeda- Children of bodom

Amrot- Slipknot

Mauro- The police

Freddy- Iron maiden

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

All the songs that I write is about personal experiences or society in general. I talk a lot about religion, about abuse and about unfair treatments or unfair use of power.

6. Where was your last gig?

As a band, our first gig will be the 19th of March with For the glory, Beyond the madness, Strikeback and some other bands in a local fest called "981United".

7. Where would you like to act?

Resurrection Fest, no doubt! Haha, but there´s still a long way of gigs and road that we have to run before even think about it.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Pff, there´s too many bands out there that are amazing, I couldnt even make a list of the bands that we would like to play with. For me, it is still to far to reach to start thinking about it.

9. Whom not?

Why would somebody dont want to to feature with any other band? I think it is a open door to learn from other people and at this point that its all that we need. Learn and make our stuff better, any band would be more than welcome.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No. I normally get very nervous before any gig but when i hear the first palm mute I just lose my mind and go crazy, so its fine haha. For beginners, I would say that just try to enjoy it, no matter what happens, dont get upset if somebody does something wrong, just enjoy what you doing and the people will like it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

For me, ANHA (A New Heaven Arise). As a vocalist, I think Miguel, ANHA´s vocalist is what I want to be able to do with my voice in a future. I´ve had the pleasure to watch them life a thousand times and is still amazing for me. The volume and power he can give to his screams its just what I want to do. Our bassist player, Mauro, has a lot of hip hop influences, so Linkin Park with the first albums, Korn. In general Nu Metal bands its what he likes the most. For our guitarist, Children of Bodom, Slipknot and Whitechapel its where they take the inspiration. We like to have fast riffs and really heavy breaks. Our balance in the songs its what we think is definetely the best part. All of our different taste in music makes something great when you put it together.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Fans? ehm.. Haha! With this band we dont have that yet. Hopefully one day soon!

13. What do you think of your fans?

It is true that we have receive a lot of support since we first started with the project, which is great! We will be able to play with great bands this 19th of March without ever played before in a gig. The trust that the people is putting on us is great but at the same time gives you a lot of pressure.

14. What do you think of our site?

This site is great man! You give the chance to small bands to talk about themselves and all the work that is behind, not a lot of pages do that, keep it up!

15. Something to add?

I would like to add that our EP will come out this summer! Stay tune and than you very much!
