In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Progressive Metalcore band Make Way For Man from Australia, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our drummer Jordan came up with the band name, the idea behind the name is mans impact on the earth and humanity in both positive and negative ways. For instance man’s destruction of nature and the environment but on the other side the heroic feats and the extraordinary things that humans have achieved. There is so much negativity in the world and its pushing through making your own mark and your own life.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It’s not that we purposely tried to play a progressive heavy style of music, it’s just what was formed from everybody’s input, we just started writing and the end result is what you will hear on our EP. We hope to make something unique and different that appeals to people from more than just one style of music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we have all known each other for many years. Perth is a small place and the heavy music scene is quite close knit. Most of us had been playing in different bands locally often on the same shows, Adam & Jordan are also brothers.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Adam - Meshuggah

Drew – Animals as Leaders

Josh - Macklemore

Sean – Strapping Young Lad

Jordan – Despised Icon

John - Beartooth

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Everything around us that affects our lives. We want to make something slightly different that challenges us musically. We feel the bar can always be pushed more and this is just the beginning for us.

6. Where was your last gig?

We have not played any shows in MWFM as of yet, Our first show will be our EP launch on April 16 in our home town of Perth and then an Australian tour will follow.

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere that people are interested in seeing us! USA & Europe are the biggest goals for us though, there is just so much more opportunity there for our style of music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

There’s quite a few good Australian bands we would love to tour with or support but we want to do shows with any talented bands that keep us on our toes performance wise and have good banter.

9. Whom not?

Boring, pretentious c#nts

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Butterflies are always common in the lead up to getting on stage, but nothing a few shots before the show can’t fix.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Our music tastes are very different between all the band members so inspiration comes from many different bands. Where we share the same inspiration is in music that is pushing boundaries in any style of music.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Underwear…….which isn’t really weird, just dirty

13. What do you think of your fans?

They’re great, We’re just happy to have fans! we were overwhelmed with the response that we got when we released Limitless so we hope this EP satisfies people after having to wait almost a year for another release. Basically If you like our music and support this band then we think you’re a legend.

14. What do you think of our site?

You support upcoming music and give people a chance, what’s not to love!

15. Something to add?

Check out our music and listen with an open ears & an open mind
