In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Djent/Progressive Metal band Moral Compass from USA, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We went through several different names at first and went back and forth between a couple. We ended up deciding on "Moral Compass". The name has a positive meaning. The meaning is no matter how many times something bad or unfortunate happens in life, always follow your moral compass. People go through stress, hardship, emotional self infliction, and many other terrible things every day. Underneath all of those problems, there is a will to grab onto your morals and confidence and overcome them. You just have to find it.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Our style of music is something we love to do very much. There's no other type of music out there in our opinion that is as fun and powerful to play. Everything from the lyrics, the technicality in the instruments, and the overall sound has such a huge impact on us and the way we perform.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

3/4 of us were in a band together before this one called "Voices and Vessels". Our drummer Anthony worked with our Guitarist Joe and that's how he was introduced to the rest of the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Nick: Misery Signals

Joe: Erra Bud - Panic at the Disco

Anthony: A Day to remember

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

There is a lot that inspires us. Struggle, love, passion, interactions with people, wisdom, adventure, etc... The list can go on and on. Instrumentally, the inspiration usually just comes from what kind of mood we are in at the time. It can be anywhere from a very relaxed feel to a song to a very powerful fast heavy song.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last show we played was in Warped tour of 2012 in our old band "Voices and Vessels'. Other than that we have not played any shows as this new band yet, since we have only been a band for about 2 months. We are looking to start booking shows for April of this year however.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would love to play on the west coast. That is our goal within the next year.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

It would be really cool to get some different musicians to be featured on a track or two. Some people that would be awesome to have on would be Jason Richardson (formerly Born of Osiris and Chelsea Grin), Matt Greiner (August Burns Red), or Sam Carter (Architects).

9. Whom not?

There isn't any in particular we wouldn't work with, but we would want someone that fits our sound. No country singers haha.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Everyone gets nervous before playing a gig, but that is natural. Feed off that adrenaline and use it to better your performance. Imagine as if you are at your practice space rather than on stage in front of people. Just play like no one is watching and you should be able to overcome any sorts of stage fright.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We get a lot of inspiration from Counterparts and Erra, but we really don't sound like them that much. We have our own sound, but those are some bands we listen to a lot.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We once got invited to a Juggalo concert by a random fan states away, after a show haha.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are amazing. Each and every one of them gives us the greatest support and inspires us to keep on doing what we love.

14. What do you think of our site?

The site looks really awesome! It gives a lot of bands opportunities to be noticed. Any exposure is good exposure and we think you guys have done a great job on supporting every one!

15. Something to add?

We have an upcoming EP release entitled "Natural Development". It will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, etc... on February 26th, 2016. Check us out on facebook at facebook.com/moralcompassband
