Older Than Oceans - Interview

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Older Than Oceans was created by our past vocalist. We all fell in love with the name instantly.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We all just like to play the same genre of music that influenced us to play music as kids.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Lead Guitarist, Anthony Muhlig, and rythm guitarist/vocalist, Nick Dipace, were in bands for acouple years before founding the members of OTO.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

We could collectively agree that Four Year Strong and A Day To Remember are our favorite bands.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Again the bands we all listened to growing up definitely inspire us to write today.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was at Revolution Music Lounge in Amityville, NY opening for Patent Pending.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere we can!!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

The list could go on forever.

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Look up at the tops of people's heads or to the back of the room!

10. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Taking Back Sunday, Four Year Strong, A Day To Remember, The Wonder Years, the list goes on...

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing weird yet.

12. What do you think of your fans?

They are the best! They are the reason we are where we are today and we cannot thank them enough!
